Good morning everyone! We are in day 20 of the 30 Day ‘Thankful Heart Challenge’ and I continue to be amazed at the numbers of friends who are participating in this study on gratitude and thankfulness.
Whether you committed to this challenge on a daily basis or only getting to read a few times a week, you have the option to make it work for you.
One thing I love about gratitude and thankfulness is that neither have an expiration date.
And both should be a part of our everyday life. If we truly ask God to cultivate in us a heart of gratitude and thankfulness, then the next step is for us to practice it daily. Think about ways you can tell or show others that you appreciate them, then do it! Every day, be sure to tell somebody thank you.
I know God loves for us to praise Him and thank Him for all that He does in our lives. He is the provider of all that we have and our gratitude comes from Him exclusively.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1 (NIV)
Take a few minutes each day to journal your thoughts, your blessings, and your challenges. Our Heavenly Father already knows what’s going on in our lives, and there is comfort in knowing that He walks right beside us through it all.
The beauty of YOUR STORY is that you have a record for all times that can be used for reflection, inspiration, commitment, and hope.
Your story is a reminder of what is, rather than what isn’t.
Blessings & Hugs in the week ahead. I’ll be praying for you.
Hmmm… “your story is a reminder of what is, rather than what isn’t.” Yes, indeed! Wise words, friend! XO
