30 Day ‘Thankful Heart’ Challenge – Week 2 Devotional
Listen to iPhone or iPad here.
Happy Wednesday and congratulations! You have completed 10 days of the ‘Thankful Heart’ Challenge. That means you are a third of the way through this study. My heart is bursting with joy as I think about all that you have uncovered about yourself during this time.
Are you seeing progress as you pray for God to cultivate in you a grateful heart? I hope you are. And I hope you are keeping track of all the big and small things that He is doing in your life.
We have so many reasons to be grateful and I want to encourage you to see the blessings that are right in front of you.
This week’s study reminds us of what we have, but it also touches on areas that challenge us. Life will always be a mixed bag of experiences and we can either be thankful for all that we have, or we can bypass the goodness and grace, and concentrate on what is missing.
As you examine your gratitude status let me encourage you to be intentional and genuine in your commitment to Christ. Are you finding contentment with what you have? Are you finding that your focus is shifting from yourself to others? Are you able to praise Him despite the setbacks or missteps?
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
Only you can answer that of course, but I’m hopeful this challenge is providing you with courage, confidence, and encouragement as you seek Him and His marvelous ways.
As we continue this journey my wish is for you to spread your ‘thanks’ and ‘happiness’ to people everywhere. Be an example. Be a light for Him. Be YOU!
I’ll be praying for you this week.

What a wonderful reminder to focus on others and look for the good in every situation we face. Thank you!
