Can you believe we’re at the end of October and November is just around the corner?
As we enter this season of thanksgiving we often find ourselves more focused on being thankful and grateful than at other times of the year. So I want to welcome you to the ‘30 Day Thankful Heart Challenge.’ The challenge is based on my book, ‘A Thankful Heart ~ 30 Days to the Grateful Life,’ that just published a couple of weeks ago.
While we tend to spend more time being thankful during the months of November and December, gratitude and thankfulness are two things that matter far more than 30 days.
I want us to focus on having a heart full of GRATITUDE because it turns what we have into ENOUGH. We are to be thankful for what we have, rather than what we don’t.
At the end of the 30 days I pray we are committed to cultivating a thankful heart all 365 days of the year. After all, thanking Him and praising Him should be on our lips daily.
Embracing the grateful life allows us to be a much kinder people, forever changed and transformed.
God’s word tells us in Psalm 100, “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God……Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.”
Developing an attitude of gratitude is what keeps us grounded and appreciative of what we have.
When situations spiral out of control or don’t work out like we think they should, it is during these times that we should, ‘praise Him in the morning and praise Him in the evening.’ In all things praise Him.
So continue to ask God to cultivate in you a more grateful heart.
During the month of November I will share weekly posts filled with mini devotionals, scriptures, and a reminder to write down each day what you are thankful for; all of this straight from the book. In addition, you will receive the November 2017 Calendar, Scripture Reading Plan and a surprise BONUS in a couple of days.
I’ll see you soon!
Blessings & Hugs for a great week ahead and I’ll be praying for you.
