Bursting with excitement

When you open this post I will be in the air and headed to the Proverbs 31~She Speaks 2016 Conference in North Carolina.

I am traveling with two very special ladies (Kim & Jana), friends from our His Girls Gather group. We are so excited to see 800 or so of our closest friends. Well actually, we will get to visit with some friends we know, meet some new friends we’ve been getting to know through our Facebook group, and meet even more friends that are coming from all over the globe.

Once we arrive in Charlotte, we will head to the Proverbs 31 Headquarters for a time of prayer and encouragement as we prepare for this glorious event.

The Pre-Conference opens on Thursday and the main conference is Friday and Saturday. We will close out our trip on Sunday morning by attending a local church service before we catch the flight back to Texas.

I am so thankful for this opportunity, and more importantly I have bathed this trip and experience in prayer. Looking forward to what God has in store for each of us as we worship and learn together.

I have asked Him to reveal to me specifically what He wants me to take away from my time with so many women of faith, and the staff and leadership of Proverbs 31 Ministries. I am certain that God anointed this conference as a part of my Peacefully Imperfect journey And I know for certain that I am being obedient to the ‘assignment’ that He has given me.

I’ll keep you updated along the way and I am blessed by the prayers, texts, and emails that many of you have already sent my way.
