Happy Wednesday! We are in Day 25 of the ‘Thankful Heart’ Challenge and I have enjoyed reading all of the posts, comments, and texts from many of you participating in this study. My heart has been touched by all that you have found gratitude and thankfulness in.
My thankfulness is tied to my faith in my Heavenly Father. I am so excited to see each new day and I stand in awe and wonder as I travel the path He sets before me.
He crafts some days to resemble one another in joy, peace, kindness, and calm. Other days present stumbling blocks, unkind people, and misunderstandings.
But I am grateful to Him for giving me the ability to persevere, love others, stand firm in commitment, be honest, stand for truth, and believe in His purpose.
It is through Him that I can do these things. It is because of His sacrifice that I have abundant life. That is gratitude at its finest.
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again, Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. In the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7
Have a blessed season of thanksgiving!
