Thank you to my precious friend, Megan Lawson, for giving me permission to publish a page out of her journal.

Happy Wednesday everyone! We are in day 18 of the 30 Day ‘Thankful Heart’ Challenge and I continue to be amazed at the numbers of friends who are participating in this study of gratitude and thankfulness.
Whether you are committed to this challenge on a daily basis or only getting to read just a couple of times per week, you have the option to make it work for you.
One thing I love about gratitude and thankfulness is that neither have an expiration date.
Both should be a part of our everyday life. If we truly ask God to cultivate in us a heart of gratitude and thankfulness, then the next step is for us to practice it daily.
Take a few minutes each day to journal your thoughts, your blessings, and your challenges. Our Heavenly Father already knows what’s going on in our lives, but there is comfort in knowing that He walks right beside us through it all.
The beauty of YOUR STORY is that you have a record for all times that can be used for reflection, inspiration, commitment, and hope. Your story is a reminder of what is, rather than what isn’t.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1
I’ll be praying for you this week.
